Farvard Qeshm Chemical Company was established in Qeshm Azad region in 1374 by Petrochemical Industries Investment Company with the aim of people’s participation in petrochemical industries.

The main activity of this company is the production of polyethylene products. Most of the shares (ownership) of this company are in the hands of investment companies of petrochemical and gas pipe production industries, which are also members of the large group of investment companies of the Social Security Organization, and a small part of the shares are in the hands of other natural and legal persons.

The purpose of establishing this company and the companies of the Social Security Organization (Shasta) investment company group is to provide the resources for the future expenses of the mentioned organization from the profitability of these groups.
