According to the public relations department of the Petrochemical Industries Investment Company (PIIC), Mohammad Hossein Saber has been appointed as the CEO of PIIC by a decree from the Tamin Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical Investment Company (TAPICO).
Saber holds a Ph.D. in Technology Management, a Professional Doctorate in Oil and Gas Strategic Management, and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tehran. He is recognized as an experienced and specialized figure in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industry.
Previously, Saber has held several significant and key positions, including Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Targeted Subsidies Organization, full-time member of the board and Vice President of Planning and Development at the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO), CEO roles in various sectors of the oil, gas, and petrochemical industry, management of national-level refinery and petrochemical projects, and membership in the board of directors of the Association of Research Companies and Institutes in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries.
His academic contributions include authoring the book *Process Control* and publishing over 20 specialized articles on the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, as well as innovation management, in scientific journals and national and international conferences. He has also served as a university lecturer in project management, strategic management, and technology management.
Saber’s appointment aims to strengthen PIIC’s development-oriented and technology-driven approach, as well as enhance the management of projects and investment affairs. With his extensive managerial experience, it is expected that PIIC will embark on a new path of growth and effectiveness within the petrochemical industry’s value chain.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, appreciation was expressed to Amirhossein Pahlavan, who previously served as the acting head of the Petrochemical Industries Investment Company.
