According to the public relations report of Faravud Qeshm Chemical Company, in order to improve the level of scientific knowledge and operational efficiency of the emergency forces, the HSE unit of this company held a maneuver based on a pre-drawn scenario of a fire in product waste and its containment in the Faravud Qeshm Chemical Company factory premises in the presence of the CEO, Commercial Manager, Safety, Security and Operations Unit of the company, as well as the fire and rescue team of the Petrochemical Special Economic Zone in the shortest possible time.
The purpose of this maneuver was to coordinate and empower the factory’s operational forces in dealing with possible accidents, as well as practice rescue and rescue operations for the injured at the scene, which was successfully carried out in the shortest possible time with the evaluation of experts.
It is worth noting that the firefighters, using various equipment and accompanied by the operating teams, controlled the fire and prevented its spread, while cleaning the scene of the incident. The injured were transferred to a safe place by the rescue forces while performing initial medical measures.
At the end, a meeting was held with the CEO and the teams present in the maneuver to review and evaluate the situation in detail, as well as to examine the weaknesses and strengths, and to plan to address the shortcomings.
