Antistatic

Antistatics are used to minimize the accumulation of electrical charge on polymer surfaces. Many polymers are exposed to static electricity during the process, such as the path of the film between the rollers that conduct it to the winder. This problem occurs especially when the humidity is very low. Antistatics disperse static loads by increasing the conductivity of polymer surfaces and preventing this problem from occurring. For example, it is a method of absorbing moisture on the surface of the film. The final antistatic is added to the surface immediately after the film is produced. The most common process antistatics, such as amines, are added to the system along with raw materials.
